CaptainGame has the gist of it. SJW typically refers to someone that is quick to assume that someone is racist/misogynistic/homophobic with little evidence (or no evidence at all, in some cases). They fight against things that can barely be considered problems, like going after some guy on tumblr over a gay joke instead of campaigning for gay marriage or something actually productive.
 
I support the advancement of equal rights for women/minorities/LGBT, but I have more than a few issues with the methods of the people we call social justice warriors. There isn’t really a catchy nickname for egalitarians, as far as I know.

This headcanon ain’t so bad. still, RBD wanting to be male is pretty BS if you ask me

It’s not what egalitarian* would do, but it’s what a social justice warrior would. That’s the difference between them. Social justice warrior refers to someone that has turned the campaign for equality into an ego trip to make themselves feel like better people, I have no issue with people that are sincerely trying to help LGBT people.

Meh. I’ve seen far crazier headcannons than this. It’s better than the Tyrant Celestia one at least.

So looking at some of these other “diverse headcanons” suggests we are in fact dealing with some weird people but I’m still not ready to accuse them of being SJWs. Maybe they are, but for now they just seem overenthusiastic about making sure every race, sexual orientation, and gender identity is included…without being dicks about it.

This wasn’t SJWs, if it was Flutters would be screaming at her friends for failing to accept her or something (because they reacted with anything other than total and immediate acceptance). This is even sounds like something a transsexual Fluttershy would do.

A trans female identifies as a female, so by this it IS MTF as it says she had the operation. It wouldn’t make sense for a trans female to go from female to male.
