Don’t remember which one, but there was an IDW comic showing the mirrorverse counterpart of Tirek, he was wearing a golden armor.

What I’d like to know is what Mirrorverse Ember and Garble are like. Maybe Garble’s a peaceful intellectual while Ember is a vicious, bullying would-be tyrant who can’t get anyone to listen to her?

Tirek is this universes version of discord? An unhappy party centaur who fails to realize that his true calling is unbridled d explosive arson?

The ruler of a faraway land, King Tirek, despite his fearsome appearance, is Mirror world Canterlot’s strongest ally as well as a close friend of Good King Sombra. Maybe he’s the pony equivalent of Unicron, with the appearance he takes here being his latest form. That still raises the question of who is Primus, though.

Given how horrible Tirek was in the main Equestria, I imagine that Mirror!Tirek was some kind of super saint.

Good Tirek, being the more proactive brother, actually stopped evil Scorpan from doing bad things, instead of just walking away, possibly sacrificing himself in the process.

Tirek might look like a centaur still, but by way of Hellboy rather than the Lord of Darkness from Legend; don’t forget the subtle influence of Old Spice Guy for someone that muscled. He may even have his ‘low-power’ colors.
 
Naturally, he would be the one character in the setting to have a goatee on the mirrored side. But no nose ring, as those are for villains or Iron Will.

If Discord was the good guy, does that mean he went all two face at the end and had to be put down? (Most likely because of the Queens, or evil Scorpan.)

Scorpan and Tirek switch places, Scorpan is the big bad demon while Tirek was the one who ratted him out and returned to his homeland.
