It’s been pointed out to me that in one of the shorts, Pinkie Pie said Dash smelled like vanilla. Granted, it’s human Pinkie and human Dash, but it still strikes me as at least marginally relevant to the subject of how either Dash or her love juices would taste.

I’m thinking they taste like Rainbow Dash’s cum or Rainbow Dash herself.

This picture also works if you imagine that Rainbow Dash just very quickly poured rainbows on the apples. That shit’s spicy.

It’s all complicated stuff about beings gaining incredible item-summoning powers without conscious control… lets just say certain properties of said items get lost in translation, and “Zap Apples taste like” was not high on the direction for the zap apples’ growth, but “RAINBOW Dash sure was hot last night” might have been in her subconcious thoughts, “Rainbow” inspires coloration, and since she might not have had a zap apple since their last season, “Rainbows” taste would be forefront in her mind.
