Description

Spike holds the body of Rarity who passed away moments ago in his arms. He turns to the eternal Princess Twilight and, asks for the umpteenth time: “Was there nothing you could do?! She was your friend! And I loved her! I’ll always love her…” Tears of grief spill from his eyes. Twilight wants to comfort her old friend but there’s nothing that she can say or do to help Spike at this point. All she can say, through her own tears of regret and sadness, is: “I’m so sorry, Spike… I’m… s-so sorry…”

Spike slowly absorbed the now still body of Rarity through his chest scales.. It was much easier now that the shock of their merger had ended the Pony’s life. Tears began to spill from his eyes as his life long dream was finally becoming a reality.. All four of his eyes! Twilight wasn’t the only 4-eye’d nerd now that Spike had sprouted another head!
 
Also Twilight was there.. whatever..

FTR, Spike does not have two heads here. I believe the artist was trying to create the effect of Spike quickly looking back and forth from Rarity to Twilight.
