Personally I don’t think TR would fit with the Solar Empire, the TR or NC don’t seem like the oppressive type.

I’m New Conglomerate all the way. I was going to say to reverse the matchup, but then I’m basing them solely on the play style of the factions rather than what the represent.
 
I’d think NC’s slow hard hitting style would match with the SE, while TR’s fast firing/large ammo stock would match the NLR.

So your saying the New Lunar Republic(siding with Luna) isn’t the rebels when it’s the Solar Empire(siding with Celestia) that has been around long enough to have loyalist?

Wouldn’t it be the other way around? NC=Rebels. Terran=Loyalist utopians.  
I mean, I know the NC is attempting to fight a republic, but still.
 
And Twilight needs her own faction simply to run a Vanu crossover. :U
