True, though pinkie not matching anyone is still a good example. But the cake twins are still close color-wise. To each other, and to their dad, anyways. They look basically nothing like Mrs. Cake.
 
Also, Applejack, Apple Boom, and Big Macintosh all look rather different, and none of them particularly resemble Granny Smith.
 
I think Flim and Flam might actually be clones.

I was using the Cakes twins as it seems like a better example with them being twins and all, heck Pinkie stands out from here whole family.

I will grant that these two do look oddly similar, though. I’ve said it myself before.

Well I don’t think all comics are Canon till they’re referenced, but characters are possibly able to make the transfer over. I’d like to see an IDW character pop over even if it’s just the Tiberius.

If Vinyl is his sister then both of them are related to Twilight
