Eeyup, count Ancient Egyptians too.
Somnambula is pleased.
Shining Armor: Yeah right…
Thorax: Changelings finally achieved this statement, right, Shining?
Shining Armor: Shut up…
It’ll be nice to see more female leaders in our real world.

Jif is ALWAYS the point.
Always.
That…was the point.
I was going to direct my comment towards you, but… I’m actually finding amusement in the idea of someone who’d look at random banners or billboards and always think they’re directly talking to just that one person.
“Moms like you, choose Jif.”
“I’M A GUY! WHAT, ARE YOU BLIND!?”
But of course, instead of looking at history or attending history classes, They took women’s studies.
Saint Joan of Arc
Elizabeth I
Isabella of Castille
Catherine of Aragon
Just to name a few.
You don’t even have to look at modern history to find great women leaders.
Oh, I didn’t realize you had responded to my original comment. Okay. I don’t know if the author is an SJW, or a feminist, or whatever. Their intentions probably weren’t malevolent. But I don’t think people realize that the saying “Women can lead too” kind of implies that men are usually in positions of power because they aren’t women. And as someone in a position of power (however minuscule it may be) who gets talked smack about for the same reason by the two women that work under me (despite neither having applied for the position, but I’m not sure if they knew they had to), it hits close to home (A.K.A. Yes, I mad bro). So no, that wasn’t meant to be a particularly intellectual comment, more me venting my frustration.
I’m not going to argue with you about nationality. Is the author from a patriarchal country? I doubt it, the audience for this kind of thing is usually westerners, but I don’t know. I can’t say what it’s like in India or the Middle East, or the like. I’ve never been there, I don’t know anyone from there, and it’s hard to tell what’s true or not on the internet. All I’m saying I guess is that saying this is kind of a waste of breath in western society. If anything, it is more discouraging than empowering because it also kind of gives young women the impression that they aren’t really welcome to try, which, 95% of the time, just isn’t the case.
I don’t know this artist at all but it’s also worth considering that they might not come from one of the countries most of us live in. I had a friend who came from India, for example. She received much more adversity there trying to become a lawyer then a women in America would. She faces a lot of sexism in her day to day life, from pretty much all areas.
Well, you seemed to be under the impression that most people would deny the author’s message here. If not, sorry, but that’s the feeling I got from your post.
Once again, good on you for pounding that strawman into the ground.
No one who isn’t a socially inept piece of dirt would deny that women and men can lead just as well as the other. There is literally nothing that discourages women from pursuing leadership roles more than the idea that women are unwelcome in such fields until western society has some completely unnecessary PC overhaul. An idea which SJWs, feminists, and to a lesser extent, people like you love to perpetuate.
Man, you really defeated that strawman something good.
Having this view isn’t SJWish. Pretending there’s some sort of giant opposition to this view in the civilized world in this day and age, however, is SJWish. And the image strongly implies that pretense.
Check out the rest of the stuff by this artist. All of it is mouthpieces. Looks pretty much like a SJW to me.
Come on. This message may be obvious but it’s also extremely tame and a normal view for decent human beings to have. It doesn’t fit under the “SJW” umbrella and you all know it.
