Considering it took nearly two and a half years for someone to say that, it still supports my basic point, which is that this stuff is really, really obscure.
I know about Reverse Convoy/Rebirth Megatron, because of the Robot Masters shorts seen on YouTube.
I think the ability to disguise herself as someone else is a more important characteristic of Chrysalis than having minions is. Hence she’d be closer in my mind to something like Animated Shockwave/“Longarm Prime” or the “Reverse Convoy/Rebirth Megatron” version of Megs. The true Decepticon identity corresponds to Chrysalis, while the Autobot charade corresponds to False Cadance.
I mean, they’re both in control of an insect-like race (Chrysalis has Changelings and Airachnid has the Insecticons),
In retrospect, Chrysalis’s closes Transformer counterpart probably IS Megatron…
