This verse of the Bible refers to being honest and reliable. The context is that you shouldn’t take oaths because that would infer that you don’t keep your word the rest of the time- i.e., “let your yes be yes and your no be no”. It has nothing to do with what the artist is using it for. I suppose that makes this a double mouthpiece.

What is this even saying? Your “no” is already “no”. Weather it be people asking you for sex, or for the last cookie, you’ll always have people ask again and again. It’s just human nature to whine and moan and plead. Though I like to think most of us grow out of it.

…You DO realize you just left that comment to a bisexual woman, right chucklenuts? Also, this image has literally nothing to do with LGBT rights. Not every use of a rainbow is LGBT influenced, because otherwise, Lisa Frank would be THE biggest lesbian EVER.

Source what? The majority of what I wrote was spur of the moment/stream of thought. so it’s a mishmash of opinions, and articles I’ve read on the web from who knows how long ago. If you want citation go to Wikipedia, but if you got time to kill, you can look this stuff up yourself, and draw your own conclusions whether what I’m saying is real or not.

Also, as for the nurse and unconscious guy, couldn’t find the original page, but I found something similar.

Read close to the bottom where he talks about the two couples in the car sharing a condrom, and the legal headaches that would result.

While I agree with you that an explanation isn’t required it is still nice to have one anyway just to know why it was that you were turned down. Also with the above link I was referring to the use of “time travel no” as the author puts it ie. withdrawing consent after the fact. If someone makes a bad choice, or has regrets about their past actions, then that’s just life, and yes, it is insulting to women to try to shelter them from the effects of their life decisions because your basically saying their too weak/frail/unfit to lead the life of a responsible human being.

It’s like women who drink, get drunk, and then wake up in the morning with some guy they have no interest in. While, yes, men who take advantage of women like that are pure filth, the “I was drunk” clause is just a poor excuse. Yes, you wouldn’t have slept with that guy if you hadn’t been completely hammered, but by the same reason I’m sure there is a number of people that would be alive now if it weren’t for drunk drivers, so should we give them a free pass just because they wouldn’t have been driving like a drunk ice skater over a patch of wet ice?

Also, just to muddy the waters a little, what about a guy who get’s drunk, and wakes up at 10:00 with a 2 the next morning? Should he be allowed to charge her with rape what with him being drunk at the time? Also what if both participants were drunk? Who sues who in that case, and please don’t tell me that a man with a BAC greater than .08 is going to have enough presence of mind to be making sound decisions, because if so this is just another case of let’s just blame the man while giving women a free pass from any form of personal responsibility, or conduct.

Finally, just to make things a little more interesting, what of the story of a guy who passed out drunk, was unconscious, and some girl had sex with his prone and unresponsive body, got pregnant, and then sued and won child support from him? How is this justice when, if the reverse happened, people would be up in arms about how biased the court system is against women? Also, going back to consent, what of the guy who was in a hospital, accepted a blowjob from a nurse, and then the nurse spit the sperm out into a syringe, injected the sperm into herself, got pregnant, and again, sued and won child support despite the guy saying he consented for a blowjob, but that was it, and that the nurse used his sperm in a way that he never had the chance or opportunity to say no to.

Apparently the logic behind it is that it’s the man’s sperm therefore it must be his responsibility. Again, responsibility, notice how that word keeps coming up a lot? A man has responsibility, but a woman does not. A man has no reproductive rights only reproductive responsibility…it is the woman who has all the rights. Her body, her decision, but it’s only a man who has no say weather his child lives or dies, or weather he wants to be a parent or not, or if he even wishes to support his child or not. A woman can opt out of parenthood any time she wants, abort a child any time she wants, and there isn’t a thing a man can do about it, and while yes, you can tell men to keep their jeans zipped up, but please bare in mind that you are still defaulting to blaming men.

Instead of telling men to keep their jeans zipped up how about we tell women to keep their legs crossed, but whoops, we can’t do that, because that’s slut shaming. Again…another way to get out of bearing any personal responsibility as a grown, rational, functional, human being. I am all for with “no” being “no,” in fact I encourage it, however while we’re concentrating so much on those evil men we are forgetting the basic fact that it takes two to tango, and that yes, we are essentially playing favorites when we’re assigning who to blame.

tl;dr No one cares about your intellectual laziness, so if your too lazy to read this, I can only wonder how you found the energy to do other important stuff in your life…like breathing.
