Technically she wasn’t. Shortly after the first Secret Wars event “Alicia” dumped Ben for the Torch.Eventually they got married. That Alicia was revealed to be a Skrull spy namedo Lyja “the Lazerfist”, a “Super-Skrull “ (or Power Skrull, not sure) with powers designed to counter and complement Johnny. She’s spent every appearance since either trying to get back together with Johnny or kick his can for dumping her.
 
In the MC2 dimension (Spider-Girl) the two are still married and have taken Reed and Sue’s place as leaders of the FF.
