My impression of Maud wasn’t that she wasn’t enthusiastic about life, but that she just didn’t show it.
 
By analogy: there’s no lack of UI flashiness or responsiveness that comes from the OS; the OS is as responsive and flashy as any other. There’s just a jacked-up setting in the BIOS that causes the display to be really dim and have a horrible refresh rate.
 
As such, I’d imagine her reaction to a sexual proposition to be: “I’d love some sex. That would be fantastic.”, in the most absolute deadpan expression and tone as possible, such that if you didn’t know her, you’d think she was being extremely sarcastic.
