Tails is an Earth Pony, and although you can’t tell in the drawing, he does have two tails as he should have. Sonic’s cutie mark is a gold ring, as he collects those in the games.
I wanted to do something a little different for the background. I am a huge fan of the early retro sonic games so wanted to imply the retro with squares representing the simple pix elated look of the old games.”
