Do you also remember the ‘Gag-goyle’, that hideous dragonlike freak that used to swallow people and other monsters whole? He had a see-through stomach so you could see them digest. Vore fans must have loved him.
 
And when he gets killed it’s because one victim drilled a hole in his belly and escaped. It was totally sick. I loved it!

Technically, that’s Macross rather than Robotech. The arms are not the Daedalus and Prometheus of the American show, if you look closer at them. They’re space carriers.

Kids grow up in plastic bubbles today. They have to be protected from every little thing that might encourage violence… or scare them… or introduce them too early to some creepy, uncomfortable, and regrettably necessary facts of life. They must be shielded from ALL negative influence, lest they grow up to be disgusting and unethical adults.
 
Well, there used to be a perfectly normal system of protection against negative influences; they were called DADS. And now all these idiots - single mothers who think they don’t need help to raise their kids alone, soccer moms who both smother and spoil their children, and deadbeat dads who won’t lift a finger as long there’s someone else willing to do the job they ought to be doing – are relying on society-at-large to act as a father to the fatherless. You can see how well that’s working out.
