Hmm, so here is the one last thing that has been stuck in my head about this marriage thing, doesn’t Sibsy live in Canada? Does Mando live in the states? Will either of them be moving to where the other lives to complete the marriage thing? I only ask this because I tried the long distance relationship thing only to decide that it didn’t work for me,it’s much easier to date people where you work. :p

Kind of a downer song, yo. “Isn’t It Great To Be Different” is a much better choice of fandom music for a marriage, what with it actually being about the songwriter meeting his future wife at a Pony convention.

That sort of thing really is nobody else’s business; even if she (or he, or both) had already been in a relationship… so freakin’ what? People change their minds sometimes; if an existing relationship isn’t working out, it doesn’t really serve anyone’s best interest to drag it along, and the only people authorized to comment on it are those directly involved.

While we did initially bond over a shared love of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, it was slightly less anime-esque than that; we were friends for a couple of years and then we fell in love. It happens. That’s part of why I have so little patience for anyone crybabying about “friendzone”; all of the most solid and loving relationships among anyone I know were built on a foundation of “just friends”, where the “just” eventually eroded away and “more than” got slowly built up in its place.

Sometimes in Vegas, alcohol helps people skip most of those unnecessary steps and go straight to the drive through Elvis themed wedding Chapel, and then off to the baby making!  
Thankfully, divorce and child support payments are also a proven science.  
But, if people are Not in a hurry, then yes taking the extra time to go on and dates and practice relationship building can help avoid the unnecessary divorce and child support payments.
