if you have windows, add microsoft ime for japanese in your keyboards (region and language>keyboards and languages>change keyboards), it has an input pad that lets you write the kanji with your mouse, and has ways to look them up by stroke counts or even radicals.
“Hey, Octavia, why are you mad!?”

I’m not too sure on that second speech balloon. I can understand Vinyl’s saying ‘some (????)-like thing appeared’, but I can’t read the kanji. Maybe someone with superior skill can help?
