Appearance maybe, but that TM was on the name. What I’m saying is that Hasbro can’t TradeMark the name like that.

You can trademark and otherwise protect the appearance and mannerisms of your VERSION of a public domain character.

I’d get sued if I put the Disney version of the Hydra in something without permission, for example.
