Well when you go to con’s that have stricter rules every year because of people that do stupid things that ruin fun for the rest of us, you’ll understand.

It’s not America, Galacon is in Germany. And this was after the con closed down, and they asked the staff for permission, the staff supervised it (afaik they even are from the staff themselves or something, because they made a line dance tutorial as Applejack and Rainbow Dash the other day). It was like a little in character show for the last remaining bronies there who were very happy about it. Those girls are nice and good responsible people, they do a lot for the Brony culture in Germany and I even saw them lesson a group of guys who made fun of bronies at the GalaCon.
 
I’m just surprised how so many people could judge them by only seeing this gif? Usually it’s the others who judge us bronies, and we actually should try to be better than that.

And that’s not their fault.. If some idiot decides to do dangerous things and fails it’s clearly the idiot’s fault..  
Also this argument is a slippery slope with no end. Because you can always and everywhere see stuff you should not do at home. Almost every movie, almost every TV show, adds, millions of videos, etc.  
You want to forbid all that? Have fun trying that..

it’s the fact that they did, videotaped it then got put online that someone would probably do it again at another con. even if they’ve put a disclaimer that they did it before the con, some idiot would do it while the con is on-going then failing spectacularly that would be the problem.

You don’t understand the issues people like them cause for the rest of con goers. Yeah, they’re having fun, and that’s fine, fun is what con’s about. But all it takes is for them to knock someone over and injure a person, and con rules get even more strict.

for me it’s the “we can do it too” mentality and then someone gets a boo-boo and sues the crap out of the event because they let them do that boneheaded thing THEY did that’s the problem.
