Shiny Luminous becomes more of a veteran in All-Star, where she’s helping stop freight ships with her bare hands, destroying enemy attacks, and paralyzing multiple big bads at once. (shrug) Its okay to have a few barrier-type precures among all the raw power precures, especially since she only has a year of life experience. She also has that one solo giant explosive wave attack that blasts everything evil around her.

Seiji I guess would fit, I honestly didn’t know about him. Happiness Charge Precure never really peaked my interest as a precure team or in mythos.

But here’s a question will Shiny Luminous fight. Well she might but patheticly, since she did fight in three games.

and also you forgot Seiji or do you see him as a Cure equivalent.

@Puto-Chef
Cure Fire XD

Yes, that would be perfect. :D If their going to go all out, they might as well include all the what-if and potential cures (even the boys), like Kenji, Kiriya, Ira and the Kiryuu sisters from Splash Star.

On a side note, I find it a little odd that they say the creator of Sailor Moon had the biggest influence on ruling out boys from getting any semblence of heroic power in these kinds of anime, yet she herself broke that rule with Scout Anshar, part of the Sailor Scouts’ rival team that fight for the Earth instead of the Moon.

Instantly Erupts into Flames of Pure Rage

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH-Yeah i’m cool with that.

Getting a good gaming license is hard to do for an anime without an extremely high budget, even Sailor Moon and Bleach found the task of creating consistantly high-budget games daunting even during their highest points.

Money isn’t the only issue, its connections. If you aren’t a Toei anime like DBZ or One Piece, or you don’t sell it to Namco Bandai like there’s no tomorrow, like Naruto and Jojo did, a solid anime game series is not going to appear. Just a few DS games and maybe a few console games if your lucky.

Its not that surprising really. Precure may be a long running collection of anime series, but despite quality, it only has mid-culture popularity in japan, like Digimon is to Pokemon, or the Tales games are to Final Fantasy games.

(Hey there’s an idea. For the next Tales of the World game, make it a hybrid game(similar elements/different characters) where its called Tales of the Precure World. Makes a lot more sense then other hybrid games, like Dynasty Warriors Gundam.)

Its a pity though. As it stands right now, the Precure universe has enough heroes and villains to create its own(DBZ) Xenoverse game, and they’ve even established in Precure All Stars a blank slate character with flexible potential for one of those ‘get stronger by learning from the best’ games, Cure Echo.

@OptimusPrimevil
Now that I watched the entire series and the two movies, I can give a more clear answer. I had only watched the 3/4ths of the original series when I replied last. It is 94 episodes long afterall.

(By the way, this fight is the context of what I was talking about, even though in terms of strength, it is only 3/8ths through the series) By the time it gets to the finale, the fighting is on an entirely different level then the other precure series in terms of strength, speed and power.

Keep in mind that even though Cure White is the weaker of the two, she is one of the most agile precures and martial judo prodigies.

Not only that, but Cure White’s grandmother is heavily hinted to be one of Cure Flower’s comrades from Moonlight’s Heartcatch series(i.e. the Precures from the early series), so she is also a second generation precure like Cure Blossom.

While White doesn’t have the berserk power Cure Black has, she understands it and can wield it while holding onto Black in the second season. For example, take a look at this scene at 57:10 of the first Precure movie)

Cure Moonlight is incredibly badass, but Cure Black would simply overpower her and outmaneuver her, there’s no question.

@OptimusPrimevil
Sadly, its not that simple, even if its a spar battle between them. A villain named Poisony, a fighter of far higher skill compared to the first team at the time of its infancy, tried that strategy on Black and her partner White but it didn’t work. She made the attacks as lethal and/or K.O.-inducing as hell, especially on Black from the getgo, yet somehow she was enduring even more then her partner.

And what’s worse is that Cure Black and White currently have more experience then any of the other precures….They spent nearly twice as long as the other teams fighting constantly stronger foes. And Black is both the most powerful brawler and martial artist out of the precure leaders, and a highly intuitive fighter. Usually when the precure teams unite, Cure Blossom acts as the inspirational leader and Cure Black acts as the front lines, guts and battle experiance leader.

Seeing their strength compared, moonlight’s only advantages are somewhat higher martial skill, and heartcatch powers that won’t do enough damage anyway. The original precures had no solo extra powers, even when their enemies did, but that makes them all the more dangerous in terms of skill and power.

And that’s not even counting on her unique power up. Its never explained where that power comes from, but its hinted that her power, being Cure Black, is the closest to the power of darkness and light at the same time, sort of like Sunset’s story and cutie mark. When Black goes to save her friend from death, and the villains try to brainwash Black into despair, Black goes berserk and reasons that ‘all humans are born alone at first’, so to fight to protect people is both acting out of selflessness and selfishness, and to let neither heaven or hell stop her is something that is just natural for her. There’s a reason she was chosen as the original precure.

So if its a death match…then all bets are off.

@OptimusPrimevil
I guess it would depend on whether were going by ‘incredible skill’ threat or ‘unstoppable force’ threat.

If were going by incredible skill, then Cure Moonlight is most definitely the reigning champion. Even if your a group of super powered enemies, if you underestimate her, your screwed. She has very ‘elite’ prowess for a magical girl.

However if were talking about unstoppable force magical girls, I would definitely have to say its Cure Black. Excluding her natural upgrades, not only does her magical strength spike outside of transformation sometimes, if she completely loses control of her emotions while Cure Black, a power surge blows away everything around her and her strength AND speed suddenly increases dramatically more and more until she calms down. Her movements become completely untraceable even by super-fast villains.

Also, despite being the first Precure, her uniform is the most unnatural one. For a magical girl uniform, her’s is heavily armored, almost like partial-Saiyan armor. Her endurance and durability is insane.
