It’s not really that strange. Men and women sacrifice practicality of aesthetics all the time. My sister wears a short skirt in the winter with a jacket and a scarf because it’s fashionable. I never wear shorts (even in the really heated summers) because I don’t like the way they look. Those are just my personal examples but you can find many instances just like that in real life everywhere.
…………
Yeah, I’ll give you that, though you’re kinda mean for making Sunny travel all the way out to a cabin which would, unquestionably, be cold upon arrival.
Then again, that would explain the look on her face… maybe if it was Autumn, it would be less mean.
What if it were a log cabin out in the woods and it was chilly everywhere else in there.
But, you’re indoors…
Well, it’s winter.
A… sweater in front of a… roaring fireplace?
True, Derpy might be thin enough to try wearing it through the arms…
5 you mean. You forgot the arms!
The Ski Mask has two holes. This has three.
That’s kind of what I was thinking too, lol.
Oh wait. It’s exactly like a ski mask.

I mean sure it looks nice but sacrificing practicality for aesthetics seems weird.
Since when has fashion held practicality first?
Although it would still keep you warmer than a regular shirt, I’d wager. The material plays a large part in that.
You answered your own question there.
It’s actually been like this for a while on other sites. Check out any anime imageboard and you’ll see what I mean. It’s a Japan thing.
