Starburst is very much her father’s daughter, which makes her interactions with her mother particularly interesting - truth be told we don’t really know how Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle would interact in any serious, prolonged way, but inferring an interpretation of their dynamic through how the mother and daughter interact creates an interesting mental image. It suggests possible details and facets of the parents through how they find expression in their child.
 
It’s part of the reason why children are so fascinating - they are the products of their parents, and you can see their influence in every aspect.
