Yeah, but that’s practically every ship. There’s very little interaction between characters outside of the M6.
I always figured ‘crack’ meant the sheer unlikelihood of something happening strictly within canon. But I could be wrong.
Like I said, “popularized”.
Scratchtavia, for example, has zero basis on canon of any sort, but it’s not considered “crack” because of how popular it is.
Dumbell/Dash had more interaction than fluttermac…
Twisted panies are sexy, yo…oh wait. You mean the other kind.
Rarilane had canonical physical contact, which is pretty much nitroglycerine as far as shipping fuel is concerned. As for cocospike and the myriad other random ships out there, it more likely that no one gave enough of a damn to add the tag.
Overall, though, you need to untwist your panties.
Well, yes. That’s true. I don’t feel comfortable deleting tags unless they’re truly wrong, though you’re still right. It wouldn’t be difficult at all.
While I am inclined to agree with you, it is arbitrary. It should be as simple as removing the ‘crackshipping’ tag if you find issue with it being here. I don’t think a lot of the other dumbdash pictures even have that tag themselves.
An antagonistic childhood relationship referenced several times as well as a makeup scene constitutes as “nothing”?
I’m sorry, but that doesn’t make any sense. Rarilane isn’t considered a crackship, despite having a grand total of 80 pictures versus Dumbdash’s 59. Is that really enough to make a difference? Cocospike has 9(!)and no fic or theme I could even name, and that’s not a crackship?
That sounds pretty arbitrary.
Crackships are defined by low character interaction, canon of fanon. Scratchtavia for example started as a crackship, until it was popularized in a few popular fics. Same with Trixieshy until Kindness Reward. As for Twixie, Twixie fics and images took off instantly after Boast Busters aired, with several rather popular fics that formed the foundation of early fandom ship fics (and clop fics).
As it stands, there’s no overwhelmingly popular fic or image theme shipping these two characters, or a canonical reason to, so until there is it can be considered a crackship.
@Starswirl
Oh God. If this is heading towards an argument in the comment section I’d rather it not happen.
I don’t care about twixie, I’m talking about this particular “ship”.
So what’s your excuse for season 1 Twixie?
Yeah, a childhood of him being a dick to Dash. :|
Glad this ship is not popular.
The brony idea of a crackship just means uncommon or unpopular. Because going by the original definition, most ships would be crack. Like TaviScratch or DerpyWhooves.
But I like this one. Its cute, and the show implies they at least had a childhood together.
