I make an insane distinction between purely intellectual/conceptual work like “characters”, and slightly more tangible work like “drawings”.
You’re free to post all your “fixed it” edits on 8ch or /mlp/ tumblr or wherever else as you want, not here. That’s simply the end of it.

Why should what the artist likes matter? All of the pictures on this site are heavily inspired, or outright copied from the show, without the consent of any of the show’s creators. I doubt that Lauren Faust would like a picture of Pinkie Pie getting raped by a hardened lump of shit, yet I’m pretty certain I’d find a picture like that on this site. If people can bastardise the work of the original artists, why should the work of those people be in any way protected from similar bastardisation?
