That’s almost how Rainbow Dash is in Tales of Harmony except instead of putting Fluttershy down, she keeps trying to get Fluttershy to see the Glory of the Pegasus Race.

If ponies didn’t bully her into a repressive psychotic rage ball she never would have never gone off on that dragon and then her and her friends would be dead. Discord would then rule Equestria or Chrysalis if something happens to Discord.
 
So if you think about it everypony that abused and taunted Fluttershy are heroes. Heroes of Equestria.
