heh it’s literal name is “strap on” because it is an artifact that was created in ancient times to train non unicorns who showed an affinity for magic. Slang for “dildo” didn’t exist in ancient times. I have quiote a funny scene where Luna is VERY reluctant to call it by the name as Discord laughs his as off. xD
 
 
But Lucky is right, through circumstance, Soarin was forced to inherit a fuckton of dark magic, which, if he didn’t learn how to control, would consume him. So he had little choice but to wear the so innocently named artifact on his head. xD

Some shit happened involving Shadowbolts and magic crystals. Soarin now has a fuckton of dark magic in him, and the ‘strap on’ (no, seriously, that’s its name) is the only way for him to control the magic.
 
If he didn’t have it, he’d be dead.

I’ve seen this horn thing before… but I dont feel like reading the fic… whats up with it?

Squall’s a dick, but at least he redeemed himself a little recently.
