…Several other members of the cast do develop crushes on him, but most get over it by the end of the story, with only a couple retaining (unrequited) feelings even after he officially hooks up with Twilight. This story isn’t a harem fic…though there IS a non-cannon side story where that happens. And I emphasize non-cannon.
 
In any case, it was pointed out in another thread related to this fic that Peter has had more official girlfriends in and out of costume than the majority of superheros out there, so it’s not like the idea of Peter being an unintentional chick magnet started here.
 
Also, Trixie is living with them because Peter (and Twilight, because, in traditional HiE fashion he was living in the library) took her in to help her get back on her hooves, but she ended up sort of becoming the mooch but by the time anyone noticed she was practically family.
 
Peter is, in my opinion at least, portrayed fairly close to his personality in the comics…if a tad more self-loathing than usual, but that can easily be explained(and is actually plot related) as being that the story starts right after Gwen Stacy’s death in his universe.

Finally, I think one of the major reasons this story does so well…is that it treats Peter better than the actual comics do sometimes. I highly doubt we’ll see any One More Day crap in any of the sequels.

It’s especially disconcerting considering that the main character in this story just knocked up his sister/mother/best friend and wasn’t content with just “plowing her fields” but needed a whole herd of females to slake his lust.

Spike seems happy. I dare to ask why.
