Sorry, that BP was me, again… But yeah: interesting theory about mutations occurring… I can imagine that being, eventually, little more than a “slot machine”-like mechanic of mutation, where the creature repeatedly cuts themselves in half in an attempt to get a mutation with seemingly positive traits.
So they can regrow limbs including genitals too?

But I see what you mean. Even if they do have the regrowth ability, they shouldn’t take it for granted. I can certainly imagine the results of abusing that ability to be quite awkward. :D

Actually, I did have the image in mind of a male using their tail to strangle their opponent, so with nothing else in mind for a weapon, I guess strangulation would be their primary means of attack.
An extra thing to note is that they can regrow their tails, genitals included, if the tail is lost somehow. Complications and mutations can start to happen in that region if this happens to the same individual too many times.

I find the idea of Alp-luachras dueling with their genitalia actually quite amusing.

For a second, I thought you were going to loosely suggest that two males smacking their tails into each other violently would qualify as some sort of “cock fight”.
Headcanon suggestion: Alp-Luachra hold their genitals in the ends of their tails. Male genitalia are almost as sensitive as their owner’s hooves so, upon emerging from the tail, are used by some as an extra limb. They look like dolphin dicks.

Fair enough. The colour scheme has become synonymous with the Alp-luachra, so just a mane colour distinction would be fine enough to distinguish them.
That aside, dear Mavey has a brother! Awesome!!
For the record, though, I am going to do different mane colors too. I just personally like the red/black color scheme too much to ever change it (points at user pic and shrugs)
