Perhaps he needs to study psychology and learn how to subject his prey to long-term brainwashing/mindbreaking after he catches and initially hypnoes them?

I know I’d love to have a beautiful mindbroken pet pony to love and adore every day!

I notice Disney!Kaa has to really work at lulling single victims; complicated instructions might exhaust him or snap the sucker out of it. Let’s not even touch “ambushing” pones in a bare suburban tree.

’Cuz the artist and/or commissioner said so. Luckily, he missed Spike-who oughta be messaging for some emergency Sundrop(C) any second now.
