Very good point. I always envisioned her ponification as being just a normal unicorn as well. Though I did also go through a short phase of thinking that if people in the Equestria Girls world were to go through the portal and become ponies, they would just become earth ponies due to the fact that none of them can fly or use magic without the aide of some sort of magical device or relic, such as Twilight’s crown.

Oh god, my sides. I’m glad I am not the only one who thought of Dr. Wily when I first heard the pet name “Twily” used by Shining Armor in A Canterlot Wedding.
Seriously though, I’m kinda looking forward to seeing more of EQG-verse Twilight in the third movie (you don’t have a teaser like that and not follow up on it).
