And BG’s description of the Bublegum verse states that anything she has a magic pen that makes anything she writes actually happen, so this is basically a prequel to the story getting written, then happening if I understand correctly.
The Chrisi-verse is a series of trashy novels being written by jail-bird Chrysalis here, which are published on the outside by bg’s Bubblegum OC. At least that’s the conceit here.
Actually the artist has a number of verses and this one wasn’t tagged with the chrisiverse tag on their tumblr leading me to believe this is one of the other verses chrysalises talking about it, or perhaps that the verse where she won was all in her head.
