Let’s not forget the Liontamer; that’s just plain vicious.
 
It’s funny, too, ‘cause there’s plenty of message boards dedicated to the legitimacy of certain moves in wrestling. The Walls of Jericho is legitimately one of the worst submission moves, yet it’s his main submission move (despite the possibility of actually falling asleep IN the move). Liontamer, though, is just pure torture.

Thinking it over, that’s actually a good idea; it makes it even harder for the opponent to obtain leverage necessary to turn the move over to reverse pressure, not to mention the trouble of trying to reach the ring ropes.
 
… Kinda reminds me of when Kurt Angle went from doing the Ankle Lock to the Grapevine Ankle Lock.

Ah, the figure-four leglock. I find the way Charlotte from NXT uses it interesting; she bridges as she locks it in.

Wait, why wouldn’t she tighten the hold to begin with? If she’s trying to win, she’d need to do that in the first place, not as ‘punishment’, but as what it takes to obtain victory.
 
Besides: Rainbow can easily alleviate pressure by propping herself and propelling slightly upward, as it makes Applejack’s vitals easier for her to reach and subsequently strike.

I suppose she could have but buy maybe every time Rainbow Dash tried to use her wings Applejack would tighten the Figure Four leg lock causing her more pain on her legs and stopping the reversal attempt.
