It’s just something about them that seems so…Well, you remember how they were basically powerless after their necklaces got destroyed? Something about them being mortal really made me think of them as earth ponies. I know that earth ponies aren’t powerless per say, it’s just that I think they’d be the most fitting species for the Dazzlings.
