This post’s a month late, but I’ll add to it anyway.
 
My theory on the whole misinterpretations thing is that she didn’t feel satisfied working on a show that, despite her best efforts, was still about selling toys. Even though Hasbro has been great to work with, there were still those episodes where she was kindly reminded “Now we want this to be a toy, so… do your thing.”
 
I mean if that were the real reason, imagine the uproar and hatred Bronies would have towards Hasbro.
 
 
Aside from that, the commute must’ve been horrible, the long distance communication and the occasional flight to Vancouver from LA She did say the pregnancy was kind of a serendipitous, but not THE sole reason for leaving by any means.

I thought she left the show because she was pregnant and was going on maternity leave.

What misinterpretations?

Lauren is working on the upcoming show “Wander over Yonder” with her husband Craig McCraken

She stopped being creatively involved after series 1, but she stayed on as a guide for the team. Her last real input into the show was the Discord episodes. After that, I believe she moved on to do her Galaxy Girls programme. The show is now using a third leader in charge of production this time around. That’s all I can recall though, sorry.

She doesn’t want to share why she did because of the misinterpretations. She apparently just says she realized how much she enjoyed making the show only after people showed her how much they enjoyed it.

After S1, with involvement in the scripts of the first third of S2.

I believed that her departure was due to running out of ideas…
