No you didn’t. Sorry. I guess seeing so many people hate the art based on the story by default was starting to get to me.
Well yes, the fanfic author definitely has no control over fanart, even less so than the actual author of what the fanfics and fanart are being made of. It’s all on the fan artist here. I don’t think I suggested any fanfic writers were at fault for that pose, though, did I?

It’s kinda the artists fault. Nothing more. The actual author doesn’t specifically ask for this mature stuff to be added in.
The background is nothing to write home about; it’s a quick sketch. Spidey’s swinging pose isn’t bad, it is dynamic.
But if you fuck up on the poses of 50% of the people in a painting, yeah, that is high on the list of things I’d notice.
That’s the first thing you noticed? Not the awesome background or Spidey’s usual badass swinging poses?
