But that would Imply that Luna is many orders of magnitudes stronger than Celestia. Which doesn’t seem likely.

True I guess - stars are more interesting to look at, but I’d rather travel to a moon (or planet) to study it, and walk on its surface. Unless some serious shielding tech is invented that allows us to land on the surface of stars, which would be friggin’ awesome! :D  
Hmm, I dunno, Celestia raises the sun and that’s an actual ball of superheated plasma like our sun is; maybe the other stars are just as real, and Luna has massive powers to control all of them? ;)

I like Luna more than Celestia as well, but I still like the sun better. A lot more interesting. My favorite stars are neutron stars. On, and I consider the stars in MLP different than stars in real life. in mlp they seem like lighta pained on the sky, and not other suns. Mainly do to the fact that Luna can move them.

I could visit the moon; if I tried to visit the sun, I’d burn up. And the moon will still exist long after the sun has burnt itself out. And I did not totally just make up vaguely-scientific reasons to back up why I like Woona more than Celly. ;) :P

I don’t find giant rocks as beautiful as a giant ball of plasma. The Moon is nothing without the sun.
