I think it would be funny if Vinyl Scratch was Twilight and Shining Armor’s Sister. I know she’s not, she even has a brother in the comics. I just think it would be funny if she was, she is similar in color to Shining Armor. If she was I think she would be a bit of an embarrassment to the family, I mean Shining Armor is the captain of the royal guard and married to a princess, Twilight is an Alicorn Princess, and Vinyl is all like wubwubwubwub.
Anyways, this is just kind of a what if picture.

Scratch that name, it’s ‘Cousin Vinyl’.
I recall reading a fanfic like that on fimfiction.net, it was called ‘My cousin Vinny’.

If you were gonna relate them,that way would be the most plausible.
Come to think of it, Shining Armor does mention his “favorite uncle” in his debut.
