I wonder at times what possessed DC to take what could have been a great villain and turn him into a way to piss and moan about fans who didn’t mindlessly love every lousy decision they made.

He killed an entire universe, not just one woman. It was, I believe Paul Dini and Tony Bedard who put focus on just that part. Because with mass murder on a universal scale, the pregnant woman’s death is the only thing people remember or care about.
 
Yep, crtical darling writer of the DCAU gave us “I’LL KILL YOU TO DEATH!” which ruined what little credibility the public had for him.

Prime is one of my ‘characters I like but everybody else craps on’, because I got what the character was all about: putting a mirror to overzealous fanboys who thought everything was better when they were kids/first started reading.
 
The fact that Linkara is the most public face of Prime hate online outside scans_daily only proves it.
 
I honestly hope he comes back after Convergance/Darkseid War/soon.
