Description
We all came to this village because we were searching for something missing from our lives. Now, it seems it was in front of us all along. Its us.

If by “biology” you mean “marketing”, then sure.

As long as they’re not both. Not passing any moral judgment, but the incest shipping can get really tiresome sometimes.
@Jofca
Doesn’t have to be.
Shipping: srs bsns.
It’s pretty silly that people are arguing about the sexuality of beings that don’t really exist.
and the more basic point
Bisexuality is not the biological default. At your age, you should know this.
Could be brother and sister. Could be boyfriend and girlfriend. Either way works for me.
“well, biology” would also be compatible with people being bisexual, and the point there is a drastic population difference between male and female ponies is oft-pointed out. That would imply that either a majority of ponies are single, a majority of ponies are lesbian or bisexual, or polyamory is a major thing amongst them. It’s anyone’s guess which is most reasonable.
The difference is that someone is (I assume jokingly or trollingly) unquestioningly attributing a sexuality to a character whose sexuality is not in the least hinted at.
The shipping fandom, as a whole, only assumes that ponies are whatever sexuality happens to be convenient for their preferred ship - it has nothing to do with “all ponies are straight by default!” or “all ponies are gay by default!”.
Get brains, y’silly goosers.
You personally? Probably not, but it does put the “love and tolerate” meme the fandom used to like in perspective.

(slaps a big = on the fandom’s flank)
Did we ever say we were any different?
Shipping wars, arguments over headcanon, and all the other silly reasons for infighting. Yes, the herd is just like pretty much every fandom out there.
People, the reason the world can’t have nice things.
You have a point…
Since when has that ever stopped shippers?
The difference between the two is that it is far more likely for any new character to be straight than not. Because of, well, biology.
