so to resume: the comic will show that actually Larry and Jerome’s species are actually called nyx and it will show how Nightmare Moon trick to turn them into Nightmare Forces and gain the power of making nightmares.
 
I also hope to see a start for the Nightmare Rarity arc from the Nightmare Forces’ POV.

I assume the reason she’s not a rampaging rage monster right now is because she wouldn’t vent on her own moon. As you can see, her machinations never cease. NMM is more the machiavellian villain when not directly confronted.

but then why wouldn’t the nyx dream gremlin things not KNOW about it? the yare as ancient as pony kind, so they would have had to experience this entity, and be able to recognize it.

When she says “again”, and knowing what Sweetie Belle told the cats in issue #24 to handle “Nightmare” Anubis, the force had likely been banished well before, and knew there was no chance to undo the banishment.

If not, maybe she will try to amass an army before going back, only to be stopped by the spell. Then she will learn about it.

but WHY woldn’t they show her trying to escape, or show US that she is trapped there? she could have immediately tried to fly back, only for some magical reaction to happen and bind her down. fuck her reaction makes no sense. shouldn’t she be enraged, cursing celestia’s name and the whole nine yards? she became nightmare moon over her resentment and rage towards celestia.
 
……… the comics are secondary canon and i am normally an advocate for them cause they have had some intersting concepts. both the siren one, and maybe this one depending on how it is shaping up, give me a reason th be GLAD it is secondary canon. cause this……. it makes no sense. they are putting no effort in show how she is trapped there, it shows no care to things like faust saying she would be unconcious, it isn’t trying.
 
and i am only mentioning faust because it made sense that nightmare moon would be unconcious and restrained. cause otherwise she would just come back.

I think one can take it that Celestia actually banished here - not just sent her there but magically locked her to the moon for 1000 years. That sets up the show intro episode.
 
Forward to the Nightmarity comic, and there, once it takes over Rarity, it’s able to freely travel to Equestria without question, because no one banished Rarity to the moon.

and apparently they are connected to the dream scape i guess….. they are creating a three foot wide plot hole already. it looks like nightmare moon could hjsut fly back. there is no indication of her being tethered, and she is disgustinglu ho hum here despite what nightmare moon is supposed to be.
 
also it seems pretty much clear that luna already was a dream walker before being on the moon…… i am normally the guy who is critical of those who go around stating these comics are crap, but this, this is trying my patience now. not as badly as the siren one, but still, trying.

Given the dialog, I would say these creatures are nyx, but after they get corrupted (Nightmarity arc) they become nightmare forces.

I don’t know if you people recognized them, but the fella in the front and the one to the left are Larry and his best buddy BEFORE they were turned into ShadowFright and the Moon Jailor.
