Honestly I’m surprised she’s appeared this much. So I’m really confused whenever someone says that her getting a cutie mark is equivalent to her being written off.
I fail to see how that development makes her anymore unlikely to reappear than the fact that she lives in some part of Manehattan.
Heck, if anything, I think that her now having a cutie mark opens doors for stories.

I’ve been consumed by my own negativity a lot time ago. This is why make stupid remarks and expect others to agree with my nonsense and worthlessness. Jumping to conclusions and making assumptions is one of the few things a moron like myself can do. And even then, I’m far too pathetic to do that correctly.
This is not me trying to guilt trip anyone. I’m merely being honest.
That doesn’t seem like a possibility that’s off the table. In fact a member gaining their cutie mark sounds like an interesting event that they’d have to figure out what to do with. They could ask the original CMC what to do & panic when they realize none of them got cutie marks yet.
Or something better than that.
Point is, I don’t think that possibility is off the table.
(Though honestly I doubt it would’ve happened even when Babs didn’t have her mark yet.)
You’re really reaching with that guess of yours since it’s as good as anyone else’s at this point, please don’t jump to conclusions and assume the worst of the story or the writers. You’d get consumed in your own negativity.
Going to see the Manhattan CMC and the problems they have in a big city compared to a small town.
No, nothing that extreme. But she does have to turn in her badge and her gun.
So what’s the interesting story that has been wasted? I’m not entirely sure it truly has been.
They probably did it that way just so they didn’t have to.
Hasbro really needs to step up their game. On that note, would a 3D Collectathon be a feasible game venture?
I don’t see how Babs getting her mark prevents the possibility of seeing the Manehattan branch CMC. It could even (in an unlikely event) lead to a story where the Manehattan branch struggles to decide what to do now that its leader basically graduated.
We can still see them.
