Yes that’s true…although about a year ago someone mentioned to me that the S7 writing team also wrote some episodes in S5; I haven’t actually watched that season for awhile, so can anyone actually confirm or deny this?

Most likely poor writing, that’s why (plus didn’t season 6-7 have new writers too?)…

To this day, I’m still wondering why Rainbow hasn’t been arrested for her non-heroic vandalism and destruction and why the Wonderbolts enlisted her as an official member without so much as running a background check on her profile for criminal history (Y’know, something that real-life military groups do with recruiting new members).
 
I still consider her to be a criminal and a wanted fugitive (BTW real heroes don’t break the law or destroy public property), and none of her good deeds/actions from before or after TFTM will ever redeem her. Ever.

Hey, no one saw her commit these acts, so no one thought she had anything to do with it.

Everypony outside of her circle of friends probably just wrote it off as Rainbow being impatient to get winter started, right?  
I feel like she definitely deserved to be chastised for going this far over the line, but I guess the job still got done in record time, so at least there’s an easy explanation.
