I just consider the episodes to exist in a time blob, all of them scattered before and after each other as they fit.
 
All we now know for a fact, is that all episodes with Tank where Twilight doesn’t have wings happens between “May the best pet win” and “Tanks for the memories”.

It’s worse than that, Jim– to wedge everything that happened in between the Summer Sun Celebrations of S01E01 and S04E01 into a single year, you have to account for Luna Eclipsed, Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, and Hearth’s Warming Eve happening before Winter Wrap Up; also for Fall Weather Friends happening after Luna Eclipsed. Even the standard excuse of “the episodes are just out of chronological order!” doesn’t work, because there’s just no way to square the differences between early S1 character development and group dynamics and those of mid-S2. For the “all in one” hypothesis to hold up, that means Applebuck Season, Luna Eclipsed, FWF, SSCS6K, HWE, WWU, and Hearts And Hooves Day must have all happened before Party Of One at the end of S1, because Twilight and Pinkie talk about the Spring Has Sprung party in the past tense. It just doesn’t add up.

These ponies can’t afford to take a vacation on this kind of schedule!

Also keep in mind that Rainbow Dash talked about how this would be her first winter with Tank, not her first winter since the Winter Wrap Up.
 
That would mean the first winter since Season 2, Episode 7, May the Best Pet Win. Granted, that’s still a long time, just not as long as the time since Winter Wrap Up.
 
Also, as others have already mentioned, evidence points to episodes being aired out of order.

Considering Fall Weather came a few episodes after Winter Wrap Up, that wouldn’t be too big of a stretch.

there is a theory that states the episodes are not in chronological order.

um you forgot about hearth warming eve in season 2 so really it only snowed 3 times

I’m almost positive that seasons in Equestria don’t work the same way they do in the real world.
