No need to act like a douche nozzle mate.
…Then lock the door.
Then set the door on fire too.
Then set a pit trap in front of it with ponji sticks and scorpions and naked preschoolers.

I’m glad MLP has some ultimately tragic villains like Sombra, sunset shimmer and Nightmare moon, but Chrysalis works better as someone who is unashamed about wanting power, doesn’t stop the fandom turning every villain apart from Diamond tiara into their misunderstood brooding waifu, (because we know Diamond tiara is just a cunt, no corruption or anything).
It’s good for villains to have a reason to be evil, but I wouldn’t want every villain to be like that. Sometimes, it’s refreshing to have a villain who’s simply evil by their very nature.
What a thoroughly interest-destroying premise.
That story about the changeling creation is true. They were “born” when they emerged from that tree, and they were evil from the very first second of their existence.
Twi had been operating under the assumption that Chrysalis and the changelings had once been good and had turned to evil later, but the changeling creation story revealed that they’ve always been vile.
I thought the ending line about her just being born evil implied she was making that part up? Though I could have just misunderstood it.
Guess what? It was.
“Hmmm… did somepony say something?” said Rarity to her mirror, admiring her reflection.
It is likely hereditary. The changeling who thought Chrysalis’ crown was an antenna indicates some generations have passed.
Celestia instantly went for the kill the second Chrysalis revealed herself. In the context of the episode it was more “She’s ebon black, covered in green flame and ‘‘cackling’’” but you can easily take it as “Oh not you again!”.
According to another page of this comic, the changelings are a weird mix of animal, insect, plant, swamp muck, uncontrolled magic and pony. It stands to reason that their internal organs (if they even have any) are weirder than the average pony’s.
It was a glimpse into the past. That’s what the Fiendship series is supposed to be.
Headcanon: Bat ponies are more bloodthirsty by nature and love a good war tale.
But didn’t they have no clue what Equestria even was?
Wasn’t this whole comic for nothing?
There wasn’t even an arc it was just….things
Damn, Tia.
I totally buy that.
Celestia gave Chrysalis her holes?!
Timbucktu and Trot were not a part of Equestria. They were kingdoms with their own rulers after all.
I guess Chrysalis could have explained to Cadance what she was planning to do. It’s the only other way because Cadance would not have witnessed any love-sucking first hand.
Cadance probably knew about them because Chrysalis probably revealed herself in the crystal caves to taunt her.
Chrysalis said very clearly “Equestria has more love than any place I’ve ever encountered”. That would be a very odd statement to make if you had already encountered Equestria 1000 years ago.
>There wasn’t an ounce of familiarity or recognition in that scene
There also wasn’t any indication that Celestia didn’t know about them. Your comment is the BS I’m afraid.
Also Cadance knew about Changelings.
