nah, it’s university actually, so I’m a lot older.. :p
 
college is.. Much like you heard. Well, it usually is like that from what I’ve heard from other people, but it depends on the individual too, or the class mates. Class mates that are cool jokers, they’re fun and kind of annoying sometimes, but nothing too bad, class mates that are difficult and hard headed though, hopefully there won’t be too many of them.
 
I guess the best way to summarize is, I hope you don’t get too many stubborn / hard heads. There’s no guarantee they’ll make your life a living hell, but there is a chance that some of them might try to make it difficult.
 
But in case you’re a girl.. I’d say to search making friends with a mentally unwavering colleague, or if you have one, you’re probably already set. :p  
That is an area I can’t say I have much experience in, but what I do know from my studying time are the girls I met and girls that aren’t easy to budge are a blast, but also impossible to break.
 
 
it just depends if you get cool people during your classes, regardless of personality.

well, the feeling is sort of mutual I guess. It’s nice to find an artist that has a pretty interesting style of drawing. :p
 
wish I’d had put more time into drawing myself, a long time ago I mean. Right now with studies going on and the rush of getting that first job in what I hope will be a successful career, that makes it difficult to juggle around with my time so to have an effective use of it.  
maybe this year will be different, that’s what I keep telling myself every time… :)

I have a bit of a self-insert (drawn by a friend though, not really my work), one that I haven’t put much thought into when I was asked if I wanted one.. :p but one thing I guess I can say is that, self-inserts aren’t inherently a bad thing and when one can get creative with them, all I have to say is, more power to you!
 
thing is, my only policy on self-inserts is, don’t be an a hole or smug a hole about it. Being an a hole is bad enough, being also a smug and smarmy chap about it too is definitely a go-to my shit list. Unless they’re being funny, that’s when they become my best friends and we all have a great time, otherwise though, straight to the shit list..
