It also features Flash Sentry’s most significant asset!
It looks like she referenced a stock vector for Twi and Derpy, and then drew Flash extra long for some reason.
To be honest, except for Spike, I think the art on this cover is OK. I think it’s reasonable to expect higher standards than this for cover art, but just taken on its own, it’s acceptable. But that Spike… eesh.

To be honest. For all the robbing of this cover we’re doing the artist apparently was excited to do this. Unfortunately good art is not made out of excitement alone.

That’s exactly what it was. I own that cover in physical form, keep in mind this artist won an Eisner for her art.
