Never played them. It wasn’t a joke in the anime, it was an allusion. I don’t think you understand the difference. The allusion was merely a premise for the plot to follow in this case. A joke has a completely different structure to it, and MUST have a punchline.
 
There was no punchline in regards to Lastation’s security system getting hacked alone. The plot as a whole had one yes, but there were multiple factors involved outside of simply “Lastation’s security system got hacked, and the hacker was an okama who has a thing for Noir.” In fact saying it like that isn’t even very funny out of context anyway.

Because apparently Sony isn’t allowed to have decent exclusives these days and it doesn’t matter what else the games are on lol. Though really most of the stuff that’s PS3/PS4/Vita/PC exclusive are SOE games like DCUO and Free Realms(which shut down, leading SOE to become the next NCSoft lol, it’s only a matter of time before duco tanks too)…

Ok I comp the Mistake, Not that I over care about it.  
As to the Game being on Steam though… I honestly wasn’t aware of this.  
I don’t know if its due to some exclusive contract that NIS America have with S0NY. But I’ve always kinda wondered why this has never been ported to MY FRAGBOX360? I guess ‘cause its NOT a Call of CRAPPY Shooter, would be as good a guess as any.
 
Its just more of a shame that S0NY, and NISA will probably never port this even as a download only (Like Project Diva F), to the PS3. And Steam be damned. I’m just never gonna own a VITA ever.

LOL You don’t know Re;Birth 1(it’s spelled with a SEMIcolon btw, because the the whole spelling/pronunciation humor thing going on in this series…) is currently available on Steam? The second one is coming to Steam in june too. Third one’s not even out in the US at all yet so who knows how long that’ll take to port to PC.

Re:Birth is a Vita Game… Now I might give you some impression that I’m a S0NY Fanboy. ‘cause RRoD (OH-NOOOO!) The fact was I was an XBOT till the 360 showed up. But, I digress.. Having also owned what was a pretty useless S0NY PSP… I refuse to drop a cent on the Vita unless I can find One for insane money ~€20’s or there-a-bouts perhaps then, and as a distraction. S0NY burned me with the PSP… They can keep the Vita AFAIC.

I’m on episode 4 right now and all four of the main CPUs have been having their energy drained out of them with an anticrystal since the last episode.
 
Anyway, back to a more relevant topic, IF has a gun in the anime. In Re;Birth 1 she uses melee weapons. Additionally, the first game and Re;Birth 1 take place during the console wars, the anime starts with a peace treaty being enacted.

If you really don’t know… and, it sounds like that… Don’t worry that “Joke” should show up ’round Ep. 3 or 4 IIRC… Or was it 5? Its been a while since I watched it. But, that joke is coming… Like I said its the running gag, on Laststation Goddess.

Yeah that… PSN is in many ways a sick joke. I’d say the4 same of Live! But, I was spared ever becoming a paying member no thanks to RRoD, perhaps the only silver lining of my X360 experience. Since you can wait forever for a good JRPG to show up there on the Frarargbox.

Do you remember waaay back in ~2011 when the splunky hit S0NYs Fan?! And, they had to take PSN off-line for over a Month ‘cause Hackers managed to make off with millions of Accounts… Accounts with Credit Card Numbers?!… Everyone else in the HDN-verse still does… And they’re always ready to stick Noire with that, anytime she ever gets full of herself claiming to have the best / tightest security of all the Goddess.
 
Its kinda of the joke that connects to the fact that PSN is allways getting attacked… Such as right now…

I’m not so sure what the PSN issues have to do with the console wars. Sony loyalists aren’t going to falter just because of a little bit of being forced to play offline.
 
Unless you’re talking about Uni getting hacked again, but that is an off topic line of thought and not one that I previously acknowledged, thus you’re running that line of thought on your own… I sincerely recommend dropping it.

Actually having already watched the Sub… It IS as fairly close to the Games as they could be without actually re-telling the exact same story over again.

And now they’re basically shoving PSN+ like live on the PS4… I’d be dropping Mushroom Clouds on these buckers if I could find ’em!

Yes, I already know the games came first but I watched the anime first to see if I actually want to give them a chance. I did the exact same thing with Persona 4. Though Persona 4 The Animation is probably a biiiit closer to the game lol.
 
The anime takes place at a time of peace between the four nations, but I’m pretty sure all of the games and extended media has the four main CPUs working together(even Peashy became playable, I’ve done my homework, kinda had to because I had no idea who she was and you get her pretty early on with the Re;Birth DLC)…
 
Also, you’re assuming these games belong to Neptune.

Oh and yes Uni is ALLWAYS getting ribbed on for being hacked! ca~2011 when they had to axe the Service for over a whole month…

FYI: Before there was an Anime… There was Hyper Dimension Neptunia, Hyper Dimension Neptunia Mk2 and Hyper Dimension Neptunia Victory on the PS3. As you might have inferred form the Anime… (Perhaps not?!)… Neptune, and her Friends are anthropomorphic representations of the Sega 32x (Neptune), GameGear (Nepgear), Noire (Playstation 3), Uni (PSP), Blanc (Wii), Ram & Rom (NDS), Vert (XBOX). Plutia (Saturn with Netcast), Peachy (PC-Engine / Turbo Grafix 16 / Duo).
 
e.g. It Stands to reason that Neptune, Nepgear, and Plutia would prefer Sega branded stuff over the others. In fact the entire Series is pretty much a protracted take on the Console Wars of the early 90’s

From what I’ve seen, the only other Neptunia character relevant here is Nepgear… but then I’ve only seen the first two episodes and I’m still on chapter 2 of the remake of the first game, so IDK.

I have some buttons to mash again…. PS3 Game Console its also in the Pic… On of the few consoles that are… Hence why you should have used Noire / Uni, (Playstation) or Blanc, ROM & RAM (Nintendo), again Neptune frowns upon your lack Sega..

Also I didn’t think to color them gold like the NES here, oversight on my part.

Those are NES controllers, I didn’t use the rope tool like everyone else does because it doesn’t look right to me. From what I’ve read, it’s pretty much impossible to properly do rope in the source engine.

I think I see it now. Hard to tell what is which because of the distance and other objects thrown together.
 
BTW, how are Button Mash and Neptune playing Super Mario with a wii-mote and there’s no Wii system?

There’s also a PS4 under the PS3(hence why the eye is the PS4 model), but you can’t see it from the camera angle so I didn’t bother tagging it

I forget, hard to tell with the HDR on, but I’m pretty sure it is. Also I’m guessing you didn’t notice the ocarina between the Diamond Pickaxe, NES, GBAs, Atari and PS3, because you removed the tag…Like the N64 cart, it’s harder to see with the HDR on, but it is there.
