Okay this is just cute. OC ponies dating canon characters is always risky because you simply never know whether you like that person’s character or if they really deserve the position they’re being put in, unless you’re familiar with the artist or any fanfics about the character. It’s easy for people to just see it as shoe-horning. But regardless of who made this character or whether or not he’s well written, there’s just something about his design that speaks to me as a good pair for Pinkie.
 
I mean regardless of this specific character, there’s just a certain kind of template that I think makes a good contrast for her. Pinkie feels like she’d work really well with someone “dark”, like a reformed villain kind of character - someone who could be seen as an evil character, but she brings out the best in him. A “spooky” kind of guy, maybe a vampire or warlock or something normie ponies would see as untrustworthy until a crush on such a fun-loving pony like Pinkie exposes the big heart he secretly has.
