Here’s my personal take on which ponies best match which Dethklok members.
 
Skwisgaar = RD. Fastest guitarist = fastest flyer. Also RD’s competitiveness and occasional conceitedness matches Skwisgaar’s tendency to deliberately overshadow Toki.
 
Toki = Fluttershy. Both are the most sensitive members of their respective groups but can be pretty dangerous when pushed too hard. Also matches with RD’s Skwisgaar: both ponies are pegasi and both Dethklok members are Scandinavian guitarists.
 
Muderface = AJ. Both can be very stubborn and dirty at times.
 
Pickles = Either Twilight or Rarity. Twilight because they’re both the smartest members of their respective groups. Rarity for no real reason other than Twilight being…
 
Nathan = Twilight (if she isn’t Pickles) Both are considered the leaders of their respective groups.
 
Pinkie is Dr. Rockso for obvious reason. It’s already a popular fan theory that she does cocaine.

If anyone is curious as to why he’s not putting the moves on her, Skwisgaar is more interested in older ladies.
 
Granny Smith is the Gilf he’s after.

So Applejack = Skiwsgaar
 
Pinkie=Toki  
Dash=Murderface  
Fluttershy=Pickles?  
Rarity=Nathan?  
Twilight=Charles Offdensen?
 
I’d kind of liek to see Trixie and Dr. Rockso go on wacky adventures together…
