That’s assuming the artist uploaded this and tagged it themselves. Which, who knows if they did. A better indicator would be the artist’s comments in the description you just mentioned (which are copied directly from the artist’s da page, check source) that say “A funny comic. RRxAJ or RDxAJ?”
 
Which yeah, means that neither one is implied more than the other. It’s intentionally ambiguous.

if that’s the artist’s point, then where da f is rarijack tag to begin with? If he did suggest pic to be rarijack, he would have tagged it in the apropriate manner, and then I wouldn’t even be here. Tags are situated right below uploader’s description if you don’t see them.

Also just noticed how Rarity stops fanning herself and starts fanning AJ instead when she shows up… nice detail touch. :)

This pic is no more Appledash than rarijack (or raridash apparently, for that matter). That’s kind of the point, like the artist said. If you can’t see that, you might want to loosen your shipping goggles a bit… it’d probably help the blood flow in your head.

Rarijack is BS and nothing more. Appledash always was more pipular because it’s cuter and makes more sense than bulshitty “opposites attract”.
