Two things you might be referring to… There’s a bulge all the way up by her chin, which is way too far up to be her belly; must be her legs (which I now wonder about; it must be her feet because pony anatomy wouldn’t work with those being her knees like it would be for a human).
 
But then there’s the line that’s the front of her wings. That looks a little like it could be a belly bulge.

I think I’d like to point out an interesting irony.
 
Rocking back and forth is an instinctual comforting mechanism related to one’s foalhood.
 
She’s using her foalhood to comfort herself about a traumatic experience that was traumatic because it was relating to foalhood.

Rainbow in truth has no backbone. Which comes across in multiple episodes the names of which escape me, lol. However, I’m not completely certain a comparison to Sonic applies because his fear of water is like Kirby’s apparent infancy: Implicit, but not canon.
