If you need a specific set of gear for bosses, either bring a friend or build an arena. Always works!

The beginning is fun. You build your first home, explore some caves, mine stuff to make better armor and weapons. Unlike Minecraft you can mine in one direction and guarantee that you’ll likely hit a new area. Every now and again you come across random loot and stuff to craft some neat gear out of. Eventually you face your first boss; he’s a pushover if you know what you’re doing. That alone was worth the 5 bucks.

After that each boss demands a specific loadout to beat, and everything becomes one big grind for a specific set of gear. Some people enjoy that; not me.
